Creepa

He’s a moving body of art literally. If Picasso’s paintbrush and your favorite poets lyrics book were able to conceive—he would be its child. Canvassed by brightly colored tattoos, which were inspired by the streets in a positive way, the idea of up-and-coming hip hop artist, Sir Creepa, being the love child of abstract elements isn’t too far fetched. After all, he was birthed in a city where hip-hop is huge within the music industry.
Growing up in the late 1980’s in the city of Miami Garden’s, Florida was far from a walk in the park for Creepa and his younger siblings. He found himself trying to dodge the calling of street, violence and gang affiliations on many occasions which, wasn’t easy considering his fathers past life as a street hustler who was killed when Creepa was 2 months old. His mother is disabled and Creepa had to grow up fast to support his family and those around him.
While in High school Creepa played football and excelled fast in his grades and in school but life in the streets were calling Creepa at a young age despite his mothers pleas Creepa did what he had to do to provide for his family and to get by. One day while walking home with a friend, Creepa was sold a bootleg tape of a rapper he heard all the time Master P. The cover reflected the GHETTO fabulous life style of rappers. It was also the day Creepa became a lyrical genius.
From this point on Creepa and his friends became even more obsessed with the art of story telling and clever wordplay. They began recording riddled rhymes and submitting them to local radio stations. Their tracks were never played due to their violent content. This didn’t’ stop Creepa from honing his craft. He continued to write and he continued to engage in methodical exercises of reciting different verses from every mc’s tape he could get his hands on, including hometown heroes from the dirty south.
In 2008 Creepa was told that MTV was casting for a show called G's to Gents. They were looking for guys from different backgrounds that wanted to make a change in their lives and make a difference in society. Creepa decided to try it and he made it to the big show in fact he won the show. After the show Creepa Took Care of his mother who was in financial Trouble and started doing great things within the community to help less fortunate individuals and children get their heads on straight. Creepa started a non-profit organization called “A plus Kids” this is a organization designed to help kids stay off the streets and find positive things to engage in while, making a difference in the communities across the country.
Since Creepa has gone from city to city, state to state with other celebrities on the BET wrap it up tour.
This is where he spoke to the community about the importance of having protected sex while encouraging abstinence. Creepa stays busy and loves to be involved with the community everyday now and he is always reaching out to kids helping change lives everyday. In fact Creepa Just hosted a charity benefit in Fort Lauderdale, FL at Greek High School where Creepa also involved people with HIV and how important it is to be tested.
Now Creepa is in the studio working hard to get his smash hit mix tape completed, which, includes the platinum smash, hit song “Gentleman.” Creepa is working with the Hottest Producers in the music industry on this titled mix tape titled "Still a Goon." Creepa will have several features from other major artists on this mix-tape, which is currently taking the nation’s streets by storm. Creepa is also doing a follow up television show with MTV being called Sir Creepa. Please check out Creepa’s MySpace for the latest updates on Creepa’s community relations and updates on his career.
